  • LBI Open Artist Studio Tour

    • LBI Open Artist Studio Tour is a yearly, self guided tour for visitors and residents to collect local art and to connect with local artists about their creative process.

  • Lucy the Elephant 145th Birthday Party Celebration

    • Saturday, August 1st, we will celebrate Lucy’s 145 birthday, the 50th Anniversary of Lucy being designated as a National Historic landmark and the 250th Birthday of America. The red, white and blue themed celebration will take place from 10am to 8pm at Lucy the Elephant and on Atlantic Ave. behind Lucy’s behind. Lucy’s Gift Shop remains located in its temporary spot at the Corner of Washington & Atlantic Avenues.

  • Flagship Launch and Ribbon Cutting

    • Join Monument Artist Immanuel Oni and the NJMML team for the launch of the Flagship Sailbus at Brighton Park, on the Atlantic City boardwalk. Inspired by a year’s worth of multigenerational conversations and programs with community stakeholders in Millville, Bridgeton, Seabrook, Port Norris, Roebling, and Atlantic City, Flagship brings to life the stories of labor and migration that define South Jersey’s past, and its present. Activities and music throughout the morning and afternoon. Ribbon cutting and formal launch, noon to 1PM.

  • Cape May County Lunar Fair

    • Date: August 1, 2026

    • Price: $10 a ticket (Kids Under 10 are free!)

  • Lion Heart Music Fest

    • Two days of live reggae, camping, food, and family on 100 acres of pure New Jersey roots, the 5th annual gathering at Paradise Lakes Campground.

    • Date: August 7, 2026

    • Price: Ranges from $45+

  • Rowan University Museum of Contemporary Art (RUMOCA) Diane Burko: Extraction, A Dialogue of Extremes Gallery Opening

    • In collaboration with the Arctic Radium Isotope Observing Network (ARION) research project led by Rowan Associate Professor Lauren E. Kipp and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Diane Burko: Extraction, A Dialogue of Extremes is the community engagement component of the National Science Foundation grant that has funded the research.
