South Jersey Cultural Alliance is pleased to congratulate the South Jersey artists who were awarded the 2026 Individual Artist Fellowship. 

Every March, Women’s History Month, was officially recognized by Congress in 1987 to honor the countless contributions women have made to American history, culture, and society. What began as a local celebration in the 1970s has grown into a nationwide effort to recognize leadership, resilience, and progress toward equality.

Our new digital hub was built specifically to amplify the work of South Jersey’s cultural sector and business across all eight Southern New Jersey Counties.

The events below highlight Valentine’s Day programming across South Jersey’s eight counties and invite residents to support local communities while celebrating the season of love.

SJCA is pleased to highlight, Queer Headed (QH), a 501(c)(3) that provides sober community events, support, and resources to LGBTQIA+ individuals facing adversity from their queer and sober intersection.

South Jersey Cultural Alliance is thrilled to highlight Rawan, an Egyptian American artist and songwriter from New Jersey, actualizes her Arabic namesake and reaches a global and diverse audience. Her songs currently stream in over 60 countries.

Pride Month is celebrated in June to honor the identity and rights of the LGBTQ+ community after the 1969 Stonewall riots in Greenwich Village. During this month, LGBTQ+ people take pride in their history, identity, and political achievements.

Seabrook Village became the site of relocation for many interned Japanese Americans as Seabrook Farms suffered a labor shortage as a direct result of the war. In 1944, Seabrook Farms recruited about 2,500 interned Japanese Americans for employment.
