Your Guide to the SJCA new and improved SJCA.NET and Member Hub!

SJCA's entire online presence has been reimagined to better support the South Jersey cultural community. By streamlining our digital discovery  tools, we’ve created two distinct user experiences tailored to both sides of our cultural ecosystem:

  • CultureConnect

    • For Cultural Professionals: The SJCA CultureConnect Member Hub is the "Backstage Pass." This is the dedicated workspace where artists and organization administrators manage their professional presence and access exclusive, member-only benefits.

  • CultureQuest:

    • CultureQuest is the "Front Row Seat." This interactive map and directory is the primary destination for residents and visitors to discover local artists, organizations, and festivals.

While the new sjca.net provides a vibrant gateway for the public to find local artists and cultural organizations, the SJCA CultureConnect Member Hub serves as the central hub for SJCA members. This guide is designed to help you get started utilizing these vital new tools.

  • Update Your Professional Profile: Keep your contact info, links, and gallery images fresh. This data feeds directly into the public-facing CultureQuest Map.

  • Submit Your Cultural Events: Post your upcoming exhibitions or performances to the public calendar to reach new audiences.

  • Search Tools & Resources: Access our Resource Library for private grant opportunities, advocacy tools, and the SJCA Job Board.

At the top of the page you will find a series of navigation links. Please use them to explore your other programming benefits such as the job board, viewing the public events calendar and the Member Dashboard.

  • Stay Current: Use the "Update Your Profile" section on your dashboard to ensure your contact info, images, and descriptions are up to date.

  • Why it matters: Your CultureConnect profile feeds directly into our public-facing maps and directories, helping audiences and funders find you.

4. Two Calendars, Twice the Visibility

We now host two distinct calendars to serve different needs:

  • CultureQuest Public Event Calendar:  This is your "Public Stage." Any event you enter into the form is sent to be reviewed and then published to the CultureQuest platform. This showcases your work to Patrons & Cultural Tourists through an interactive map, event calendar, and directory. We amplify this content via regional marketing and Google Ads to ensure South Jersey remains the central hub for audiences seeking arts and culture.

  • CultureConnect Professional Calendar: This is your "Internal Network." In addition to public events, the Hub gives you access to a curated sector-specific calendar. This is where you—the Artists and Cultural Professionals—find professional development, networking opportunities, and field convenings designed to support your organization's growth.

5. The Resource Library

Stop digging through old emails! Our centralized Resource Library is packed with:

  • Advocacy

  • Calls & Opportunities

  • Equity & Access

  • Funding & Grants

  • More resources

6. The SJCA Job Board

Whether you are looking to grow your team or find your next creative role, the Job Board is the premier spot for arts and culture employment in South Jersey.

  • Post a Job: Members can post listings to reach a highly targeted audience of local professionals.

Use your Payment Portal email to get started with your organization's job listing.
