New Jersey State Council on the Arts | 2026 Annual Meeting and Reception | The New Jersey State Council on the Arts will convene its 2026 Annual Meeting on Wednesday, July 22nd at 10 AM at Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton. The meeting will include the election of Council officers, committee reports, and a kick-off of the Council's 60th Anniversary. The agenda will be available at the meeting, as well as a large print option. The Council will host a reception immediately following the meeting, with light refreshments served. More details will be shared in the coming weeks. This event is free and open to the public. New Jersey State Council on the Arts | 2027 Individual Artist Fellowship Grant Applications NOW OPEN! | The 2027 New Jersey State Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship rules and instructions and application are now available! State Fellowships – ranging, in the past, from $9,000 to $32,000 – are awarded to practicing New Jersey artists through an anonymous, competitive application process to help them pursue their artistic goals. The categories for this grant cycle are: Choreography, Crafts, Music Composition, Photography, Playwriting/Screenwriting, Poetry, Sculpture | Early Bird Deadline: Thursday, June 25, 2026, 5PM ET | Submission Deadline: Thursday, July 2, 2026, 5PM ET | More information and application.


New Jersey Cultural Trust | FY 2027 Institutional/Financial Stabilization Grants for Arts Organizations | Alternating every other year with the New Jersey Historic Trust and the New Jersey Historical Commission, the New Jersey State Council on the Arts accepts applications and recommends grants to the New Jersey Cultural Trust for funding. For FY 2027, the Arts Council will accept applications from arts organizations for institutional and financial stabilization projects to recommend to the Cultural Trust for funding. In order to be eligible for the FY27 IFS Arts grant opportunity, organizations must first be designated qualified by the Cultural Trust. ArtPride NJ | Thrive Arts Conference 2026 | Hundreds of executive, marketing, and development professionals from arts organizations statewide will converge at Princeton University for our biennial June arts conference. Produced in partnership with the Lewis Center for the Arts, and with support from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Thrive has grown into the largest professional development event dedicated strictly to confronting the challenges and opportunities facing New Jersey's cultural community.
