Open Calls

Burlington County Parks | OPEN CALL: 50th Annual Juried Art Show | $20 for up to three works of art. Check and credit card payments must be made online. No credit cards, checks, or cash will be accepted during drop off. There will be no refunds once your entry is submitted,  regardless of the status of your entry. Entries will be disqualified for not following entry guidelines. Conditions and Rules for Acceptance: Artists must be 18 years or older. Limit: Three (3) works per artist. Work previously exhibited in a juried show in one of the Burlington County Parks galleries will not be accepted. Work may be listed for sale. Prices cannot be changed once submitted. Composers Guild of New Jersey | Open to Proposals for New Concert Music | Grants to New Jersey composers for the creation of a new work of concert music and its performance in New Jersey. The size of the grant depends on the scope of the work. See below for some representative examples. Composers are expected to complete the work within a year with a performance scheduled within six months of completion. Special consideration will be given to projects with the potential to have a significant impact on the applicant’s compositional career. Point Pleasant Publishing | International Call for Artists: Collective Exhibition & Arts Festival in Princeton | Point Pleasant Publishing proudly presents Crowns of Princeton, an open-themed group exhibition of 10-12 artists at The Solley Theatre at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts in beautiful Princeton, New Jersey. Princeton is an affluent city and home to the world's leading academic institution, Princeton University. The exhibition is open to all artists internationally working in any form of artistic practice, including performance and moving-image. This one-day exhibition will be promoted on EventBrite, ArtRabbit, LinkedIn, the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and will take place on Saturday, February 20th, 2027 from 11am-4pm.Additionally, there will be a detailed and comprehensive published catalogue documenting this exhibition, available in both print and digital. Mainline Art Center | 23rd Annual Betsy Meyer Memorial Exhibition | The Annual Betsy Meyer Memorial Exhibition & Meyer Family Award for Contemporary Art, presented by Main Line Art Center, honors three artists annually with an exhibition in the Center’s gallery and an award of $1,000. This juried award and exhibition program is an effort to support and honor talented contemporary artists and to encourage excellence and experimentation in artistic practice, presentation and community involvement. The Bennett Prize | The Bennett Prize Call for Entries | The Bennett Prize, created in 2018, awards $75,000 to a woman artist to create her own solo exhibition of figurative realist paintings, which then travels the country. Guggenheim | Guggenheim Fellowship | The Guggenheim Fellowship is an annual competition celebrating exceptional achievements in the arts, sciences, and humanities. Roughly 190 Fellowships are awarded each year. It is designed for mid-career professionals whose work is well-established. Salem Community College Glass Education Center | WORKSHOP: Make Your Own Glass Kaleidoscope! | Create your very own glass kaleidoscope using two glass processes - flameworking and stained glass! This exciting, hands-on workshop invites participants to explore two glassmaking processes over the course of two sessions. In the first session on September 12, participants will meet in the Glass Education Center's flameworking studio to create a colorful glass marble at the torch. This handcrafted marble will become the focal point of their finished kaleidoscope.During the second session, on September 19, participants will construct a complementary kaleidoscope with a mirrored interior designed to showcase their marble. As light passes through the scope, reflections of the marble create mesmerizing geometric patterns, transforming the finished piece into a unique, functional work of art. Whether you're completely new to glassmaking or already have some experience, this workshop offers a fun, creative opportunity to build your skills, explore new techniques, and leave with a one-of-a-kind creation. No prior experience with glass is required for this fun and educational glass experience! Ages 18 and up are welcome to participate in this workshop. Questions?
