The art exhibition will take place at The Dr. David Flinker Pavilion Art Gallery in Virtua Memorial Hospital, Artists can submit a maximum of three entries, excluding crafts, with entry fees for members set at $15.00 for one entry, $20.00 for two entries, and $25.00 for three entries. Non-members need to pay $25.00 for one entry, $30.00 for two entries, and $35.00 for three entries. Membership fees must be up to date before registration to qualify for the discounted entry fee. Payments should be made to Burlington County Art Guild, Inc. (BCAG). The exhibition offers cash and merchandise awards exceeding $4000, as presented last year. To be eligible for submission, artwork must be original, created within the past three years, and not be fine art reproductions, computer-generated art, nudes, or erotic art. Wood-cut pieces are acceptable; all work must be wall-mountable, framed, and securely wired for hanging. Gallery wrap with no side staples is also accepted. Entries must not have been previously exhibited in a Ransley Show, and no work can be removed before the end of the show. Size limitation is 38”x38” in all directions, including the frame, and the weight limit is 20 lbs. The 9th Edition of this award will accept artists of all career stages, experiences, and backgrounds within the categories of Emerging Artist, Young Artist, and Professional Artist. Winning artists have access to a $3,500 cash prize pool, $250 in art supplies, the creation of a professional artist website, publication, newsletter features, and long-term support and guidance from the Boynes Artist Award team.

Burlington County Local Arts Grant | The Local Arts Program (LAP) provides funding to local arts organizations from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts (NJSCA)/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. General Operating Support and Special Projects grants are available to qualified organizations.

This annual $10,000 grant will support Black trans women visual artists, drawing attention to an existing body of work. Four finalists will also receive a $1,250 award. Winning artists will receive additional professional development resources and further guidance to bolster their creative development in the field.

Prospect Art invites visual artists globally to submit their work for review in their ONE WORK and NEW WORK programs. The NEW WORK program offers a $1,000 project grant, while ONE WORK is a monthly publication program that showcases an artist’s work. Fee: $10

Media Artist + Activist Residency provides grants of $25,000 to women, trans*, and gender nonconforming media artists working in close collaboration with social justice/cultural organizations to document, reframe, and/or amplify the issues and campaigns addressed by the organization.

The 2024 New Jersey State Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship is now accepting applications. These fellowships are designed to support New Jersey artists in pursuing their artistic goals. The application process is competitive and anonymous. The categories for the fellowship include Film/Video, Digital/Electronic, Interdisciplinary, Painting, Prose, and Printmaking/Drawing/Book Arts. The fellowship awards range from $4,000 to $32,000, with the amount determined annually by the State Arts Council. There is no cap or quota per artistic discipline. Additional funding opportunities are available for artists from certain counties with historically low application rates.

ART Program is a competitive grant program aimed at addressing the impacts of COVID-19. Administered by the NJEDA, it will proactively deploy $10 million in funding from the American Rescue Plan State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (ARP SLFRF). The program focuses on projects located in Atlantic City or Newark. It offers two funding categories: Real Estate Rehabilitation and Development, with up to $7 million in grant funding for real estate projects in Newark and Atlantic City, and Public Space Activation, providing $3 million in grant funding for public space initiatives in both cities, with $1.5 million allocated to each.

Life Comes From It is a grantmaking and movement-building circle that supports grassroots work led by people of color in the United States, providing funding for projects and collaborations focused on restorative justice, transformative justice, Indigenous peacemaking, and land-based initiatives. Their aim is to replace criminalization and incarceration with alternative approaches, prioritize peacemaking development, and support Indigenous-led initiatives, offering unrestricted grants for general operating costs to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or those with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor.

The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts strives to advance the visual arts by offering grants to arts organizations and cultural institutions. These grants support a wide range of artistic activities, including curatorial research fellowships, exhibition support, multiyear program grants, and various professional development opportunities for artists.
