Requests for Contract Proposals The Office of Accessibility and VSA seeks arts, education, and cultural organizations to provide accessible, arts-based education experiences to students with disabilities, transition opportunities to youth with disabilities, or professional development to educators of students with disabilities. Organizations are invited to submit proposals to implement VSA Programs. Take a look at the Requests for Proposals (RFPs) below and see if your work aligns with VSA Program goals and if you have the capacity to execute a VSA Program in your community, schools, museums, or performing arts venues. Each RFP has program specific details and a link to the online proposal form. The VSA Programs are: VSA Arts Connect All — Professional Development Program VSA Arts Connect All — Workshop/Residency Program VSA Media Arts Discovery Program VSA Theater Discovery Program VSA Visual Arts Discovery Program VSA Museum Access for Kids Program VSA Performing Arts Access for Kids Program VSA Rosemary Kennedy Initiative VSA EZ Program These are Jean Kennedy Smith Arts and Disability Programs. Eligible and qualified organizations are required to submit contract proposals online to be considered for a program site. Eligible organization may submit proposals to a maximum of 2 (two) different 2022-2023 VSA Requests for Contract Proposals, but the Kennedy Center will issue a contract offer for no more than 1 (one) proposal per eligible organization. Description Grants to New Jersey composers for the creation of a new work of concert music and its performance in New Jersey. The size of the grant depends on the scope of the work. See below for some representative examples. Composers are expected to complete the work within a year with a performance scheduled within six months of completion. Special consideration will be given to projects with the potential to have a significant impact on the applicant’s compositional career. The commissioned composer shall grant CGNJ the unrestricted right, without royalty, to non-commercial use of a score and recording of the commissioned composition, but shall retain all other rights to the composition, including copyright and royalties.

The New Jersey Arts Annual is a unique series of exhibitions highlighting the State’s visual and performing artists. In partnership with major museums around the state, one exhibition takes place each year, alternating between host institutions. These exhibitions are open to any artist currently living or working in New Jersey. The Arts Annual series is sponsored by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment of the Arts. Exhibition Theme The 2023 Arts Annual is open to New Jersey Artists working in any medium (visual, audio, video) who wish to explore the crises climate change and the inequality of climate resilience. Artists will be encouraged to offer local to global perspectives. Two galleries will be dedicated at each location, Arts Garage in Atlantic City and Kramer Hall, Hammonton. This will provide more dedicated space to exhibit many New Jersey Artists. The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University welcomes submissions to the Mother Nature vs Human Nature: The Inequity of Climate Resilience from February 1 – June 24, 2023. This open call invites a range of artistic practices and media that explore the Climate Crisis theme. In addition to the exhibition, dedicated programs will be offered in conjunction with the exhibition like lectures, podcasts, panel discussion, etc.
