Red Bank Battlefield is Gloucester County’s historic park. The park is home to the James and Ann Whitall house. Built in 1748, the Whitall House offers tours and programs throughout the year that focus on the history of the park.

Fort Billingsport, referred to as Fort Billings in some sources, was a Continental Army fort in Billingsport in Paulsboro, New Jersey in Gloucester County, New Jersey, during the American Revolutionary War. The site of the fort is now a public park of the same name.

The Rowan University Edelman Fossil Park is a 65-acre paleontological site overlooking a 66-million-year-old fossil quarry. It allows visitors to excavate prehistoric marine fossils and explore a modern museum showcasing dinosaur extinction.

Located in the historic parsonage of the Macedonia Baptist Church, the Harriet Tubman Museum of New Jersey honors the enduring legacy of abolitionist Harriet Tubman and Cape May's vital role in the fight for freedom. Nestled on Lafayette Street once a bustling hub of abolitionist activity the Museum connects visitors to South Jersey’s rich history and the stories of the vibrant Black community that flourished here during the 19th and 20th centuries.

Lucy the Elephant, is a unique architectural folly that has been part of Margate since its earliest days. Lucy was built in 1881 as a spectacle to attract prospective real estate buyers to Margate (then known as South Atlantic City). Visitors arrived by the newly constructed railroad, which stopped right beside Lucy. Lucy continued in use as a spectacle and tourist attraction well into the twentieth century, but the harsh marine environment and deferred maintenance eventually took a toll.

The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University is the cornerstone of the Arts District in Atlantic City with a mission to promote education, provide resources for emerging artists, and enrich the community. The Arts Garage houses artist studios, galleries, shops, a flexible workshop/classroom, and hosts special events throughout the year.

Tuckerton Seaport and Baymen’s Museum is a cultural hub in Ocean, celebrating the maritime heritage of Barnegat Bay and the Pineens. Established in 2000, it features 18 historic structures, including the Baymen’s Museum in a former lighthouse, and is one of New Jersey’s Folklife Centers. Visitors can engage with artisans, explore living history and enjoy hands-on experiences on the grounds and aboard a floating classroom.
