- New Jersey State Council on the Arts | General Operating Support (GOS) | General Operating Support (GOS) grants provide annual support for the overall operations of organizations with missions exclusively devoted to the arts and which meet the Council’s eligibility criteria. GOS grants are typically awarded with a three-year commitment, subject to contract stipulations, and available funds which are contingent upon, in part, the passage of the state budget for the grant cycle. - New Jersey State Council on the Arts | General Program Support (GPS) | General Program Support (GPS) grants provide support for the arts-related costs of full-time, ongoing, public arts programs that meet the Arts Council’s eligibility criteria. GPS grants are typically awarded with a three-year commitment, subject to contract stipulations and available funds. This grant is to be matched 3:1 ($3 earned or raised and spent per $1 received from the Arts Council). - New Jersey State Council on the Arts |Projects Serving Artists (PSA) | The Projects Serving Artists (PSA) grant program provides support to help eligible organizations cover costs for technical support or services to artists who reside in New Jersey or whose work benefits New Jersey residents. The project must demonstrate direct benefit to New Jersey artists. Applicants may request up to $25,000 in support of the project’s direct expenses. - New Jersey Historical Commission | New Jersey Indigenous Education Project | After a yearlong study, our partners at Education Northwest have compiled a report containing important historical and contextual information for Indigenous education in New Jersey and around the country, survey and interview findings, as well as a plan that includes a vision for future work, goals, and objectives for future phases of the larger Indigenous education project in New Jersey. - New Jersey Theatre Alliance | Cultural Access Network | Best Practices on Target Marketing and Websites to Promote Your Accessible Policies and Programs | December 7, 2023 | 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM | Communicating with the constituency you are looking to serve is essential as you build your audience and awareness of your organization’s access services and policies. Learn tips on how to market your programs and services, and the importance of having an accessible website and the information that needs to be highlighted on your website.
- New Jersey Theatre Alliance | Creating Change | Decolonization and the Arts |
- Tuesday, December 12, 2023 | 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM | This roundtable session led by Tara Moses, co-founder and thought leader of Groundwater Arts, will introduce foundational learnings about colonization, how it shows up in the arts field, and how we can work to decolonize our practices. Groundwater Arts braids together new ideas, living knowledge, and immediate strategies to bring the arts and culture field to the decolonized and climate-just future faster. Like mangrove tree roots, we are adaptable, committed to protecting frontline communities, and ready to face the biggest challenges of our time.
