The Global Orchestra is a dynamic cross-cultural music collective that blends genres of music from different parts of the world to create dynamic sing-along, dance-along concerts. This special performance of the Global Orchestra will feature a ensemble extraordinary international musicians from the South Jersey/Philadelphia area with bandleader Jay Sand.

Enjoy a diverse lineup of critically acclaimed jazz musicians, each bringing their unique flair to the stage. The evening begins with a jazz dance workshop led by partners, Greg Avakian and Laurie Zimmerman, who are known for their fun and improvisational style. Next, Suzzette Ortiz will lead her Latin Jazz Ensemble, performing both original and jazz standards with a Latin twist, inspired by her many travels. Closing the show, The Midiri Brothers will take the stage with their fresh take on swing jazz standards as well as original compositions. More on the musicians below:
The Midiri Brothers Sextet
The Midiri Brothers Sextet is a critically acclaimed swing jazz band known across the tri-state area for their fresh takes on beloved standards and as well as original compositions. Featuring brothers Joe Midiri on reeds, Paul Midiri on vibraphone, Jim Lawlor on drums, Pat Mercuri on guitar, and Jack Hegyi on upright bass.
Suzzette Latin Jazz Ensemble
Suzzette Ortiz's music incorporates both original and jazz standards with a Latin twist and inspired by her many travels. Featuring Suzzette Ortiz on piano, Jon Katz on saxophone, Rubin Edwards on bass, and Jan Jeffries and Mark Beecher on percussion.
