Governor Way, Monument Lab, State Agencies Announce Call for Artists to Commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution | Monument Lab, in partnership with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, the New Jersey Historical Commission, and RevolutionNJ, has launched an Open Call for Artist Ideas for a new performance series – Revolutionary Acts – that will animate stories of the American Revolution in time for the 250th anniversary in 2026. Artists who live or work in New Jersey are invited to submit ideas for performance-based work that will unfold across specific, historically significant sites in Camden, Trenton, and Fort Lee. Artworks Trenton | Trenton Artwalk EOI | The Trenton Transit Center, which serves Amtrak rail, New Jersey Transit bus and rail, South East Philadelphia Transportation Authority (SEPTA) rail, and the River Line light rail line, is a major transit gateway to Trenton, the State Capital of New Jersey. The Transit Center is a short walk to downtown Trenton, including several residential neighborhoods, the downtown business district, parks, galleries and entertainment venues, state, county and city government offices. At present, pedestrians must navigate a network of vehicular on-ramps, barren traffic islands, and a dark and dirty highway underpass on their walk from the Transit Center to downtown Trenton. A coalition of non-profit, local and state government partners, led by Artworks Trenton Inc., Trenton’s non-profit visual art center, is seeking to create an “Artwalk” along this route, commissioning and installing public art, along with wayfinding, traffic calming, and landscaping elements, in order to transform the walk between the Transit Center and downtown Trenton into a visually appealing and safe experience, encouraging healthy behaviors such as walking and bicycling, and encouraging increased use of public transit by Trenton residents, commuters and visitors. | Deadline: June 6, 2025 | More information and application.

First Peoples Fund | Yéigo Action Grant | The Yéigo Action Grant provides support for the growing landscape of Native artists and culture bearers who need financial assistance with a specific professional opportunity or towards a hardship that is hindering their creative practice.
This program offers grants between $100 and $1,000 for individual Native artists and culture bearers. Medford Arts Center | Art, Wine, and Music Festival 2025 | Medford Village’s flower lined Main Street comes alive each 2nd Sunday in June as tents are filled with creative arts, colorful crafts, fine wine, and good food. Jersey wineries and Medford's local breweries are interspersed between the arts and crafts booths while local bands play music throughout the afternoon. The whole family can enjoy a variety of entertainment activities and performers. The Festival is in its 33rd year and typically brings in approximately 10,000 fun seekers from across the Delaware Valley in just one day.
