- South Jersey Cultural Alliance was awarded the Organizational Amigo Award at the 2023 Nuestro Pueblo Awards celebration hosted by the Hispanic Association of Atlantic County! You can see our post about it here.
- Join us for our Virtual Connection Session Monday, July 21st at 1 PM featuring guest speakers John McEwen & Erica Nagel from the State Council on the Arts and Elizabeth Ventura from LBI Open Artist Studio Tour. Register now!
- July is Disability Pride Month! Read a bit about the history of Disability Pride Month and why it is important to honor and support fellow disabled artists. You can read the article here. Get ready to read some great articles next week featuring a South Jersey Artist & Organization in this month's theme.
- Last week, SJCA officially launched their NEW online community for the Arts & Culture field in South Jersey. Log in and start connecting with the vibrant arts and culture community of South Jersey here! If you have any issues getting into the online community or an issue with a feature, please email sseijas@sjca.net.
- REMINDER! SJCA is working to build a community council of representatives from each of Southern New Jersey’s eight counties. If you are interested, please fill out this survey form here. Responsibilities of the community council include providing feedback on organizational programming and advocating for your specific county's needs.
- SJCA has received funding from the New Jersey Arts & Culture Renewal Fund to provide micro-grants to artists in South Jersey. Stay tuned for more details.
