- National Endowment for the Humanities | Climate Smart Humanities Organizations | Climate Smart Humanities Organizations program provides support to humanities organizations, such as museums, libraries, archives, historic sites, and colleges and universities, in addressing the challenges posed by climate change. This program offers federal matching funds to conduct comprehensive assessments that lead to strategic climate action and adaptation plans. By participating in the Climate Smart program, organizations can undertake activities like energy audits, risk assessments, and consultations with experts.
