New Jersey Council for the Humanities | Community History Cohort | Nonprofit organizations, state and local government, and unincorporated community groups are eligible to apply to be part of Community History. The 2026 program will focus on America's 250th anniversary and its legacy. This does NOT require a focus on the Revolutionary period exclusively, but rather on how we have continuously over the past 250 years strived to "form a more perfect union." NJCH provides $1,000 in funding up front to support participation in the program.
