Burlington County Parks- Arts, Culture & Heritage | Burlington County LAP Grant Workshop Sign-Up | To qualify for funding in 2026, organizations must either attend the live LAP Grant Workshop or view the recorded workshop. The scheduled date of the 2026 Grant Workshop, to be held virtually on Teams, is Thursday, August 7th at 1 PM. NJ Historical Commission | 250th Initiative for the New Jersey State Historical Marker Program | In preparation for America’s 250th in 2026 the New Jersey Historical Commission will be reinstating the State Historical Marker Program. The NJHC invites counties, municipalities, non-profit organizations, and individuals to submit nominations for the creation and replacement of fifty historical markers across the state. The priority deadline to submit a nomination is Tuesday, August 12th at 2:00 p.m. The final deadline to submit a nomination is Tuesday, October 7th at 2:00p.m. | Submission details and more information.

New Jersey Council for the Humanities | NJCH Board Game Night | Join NJCH for Humanities Board Game Night! Get ready to play a variety of games, enjoy some snacks, and hear from an expert on how history, linguistics, storytelling, and other humanities disciplines inform and influence our favorite board games. Light snacks and soft beverages will be provided. The event is free and open to all but suggested for individuals and families with children age 8 and above. RSVP is required using the form below. Please use the “Attendee Registration” function of the form to complete a registration for each member of your party. Suggested Donation: A donation of $10 is suggested. Currently, all donations are being matched dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000 total by The Federation of State Humanities Councils with support from the Mellon Foundation. Funding Initiative for the first time in FY 2025. Funding is available to non-profit organizations who are new/emerging organizations or organizations requiring a small amount of funding for history related projects/professional development. New Jersey Theatre Alliance | ArtsPay NJ Survey 2025 Coming SOON! | ArtsPay NJ, a long-term project to improve pay equity in the New Jersey Arts Sector will be launching the 2025 surveys mid to late July, 2025. There will be two surveys distributed to the field during the summer of 2025.
- The Individual Arts Worker Survey is completed by all people who identify as arts administrators or artists in NJ, including full-time, part-time, and contract/freelance workers. The survey includes self-reported compensation data as well as free text responses related to their perceptions and opinions about arts compensation.
- The Organizational Survey is completed by a designated person on behalf of an arts organization. They provide compensation information for all job titles (full-time, part-time and contracted personnel) at the organization. All non-profit organizations in NJ for which the arts are the primary focus of their mission are encouraged to complete this survey.
All data is collected by a third-party data analytics firm and is completely anonymized. | More information.
