Cape May County Division of Culture & Heritage | 2026 Grant Workshops | At the start of each grant cycle, the Division holds a Grant Writing Workshop to give applicant organizations the opportunity to meet with staff, review proposal requirements, ask questions, and discuss potential project ideas. Organizations planning to apply are strongly encouraged to send a representative—ideally the person responsible for preparing the proposal and writing the narrative. NJ State Library | NJ State Library Expanding Digital Literacy Grants | Public libraries are invited to submit an application for the New Jersey State Library’s Expanding Digital Literacy grant program. Libraries can apply for up to $25,000 to develop and implement digital skills programs in their communities, with a focus on underserved populations. The Four Freedoms Fund | Immigration Frontlines Fund | The Four Freedoms Fund (FFF), a project of NEO Philanthropy, builds the capacity of the immigrant justice movement to ensure dignity, power, and self-determination for all immigrants. It invests in strengthening local advocacy, increasing immigrant civic participation, and reducing enforcement and criminalization. Its Immigration Frontlines Fund rapidly channels large-scale resources to protect immigrant communities through organizing, mobilization, and defense efforts. The Bernard and Audre Rapoport Foundation | Grants for Building Resilient Communities Through Holistic Support | The Bernard and Audre Rapoport Foundation is dedicated to meeting basic human needs while fostering resilience in individuals and communities. RRF Foundation for Aging | RRF Foundation Advances Aging Support Nationwide | The RRF Foundation for Aging focuses on enhancing the quality of life for older adults in the U.S. through four priority areas: caregiving, economic security, housing, and social and intergenerational connectedness. Its grantmaking supports advocacy, direct service, professional training, and research to strengthen policy and practice for older adults. Key initiatives include supporting caregivers, expanding affordable housing, securing economic stability, and reducing isolation among seniors. New Jersey Economic Development Authority | New Jersey Loan Expansion and Network Development (NJ LEND) | New Jersey Loan Expansion and Network Development (NJ LEND) is a 3-year pilot program designed to expand NJEDA’s lending capacity to further support the growth and stability of New Jersey-based businesses. J.W. Couch Foundation | Support for Preservation, Education, and Wellness | The J.W. Couch Foundation supports nonprofit organizations in the United States in the areas of preservation, education, and wellness. Walmart | Walmart Spark Good Local Grants | Walmart’s Spark Good Local Grants supports creating opportunity, advancing sustainability, and strengthening community. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation | Call for Proposals: Exploring Equitable Futures | The purpose of the Exploring Equitable Futures call for proposals, offered by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), is to support projects that seed new and unconventional ideas that could radically advance health equity for generations to come. RWJF aims to fund projects that 1) explore the future by researching and experimenting with ideas that are ahead of the curve or at the edge of our collective imagination; 2) shine a light on the emerging trends and forces that are shaping our future for better or worse—and suggest ways to navigate them to mitigate harm and advance health equity; and 3) dream big and challenge conventional wisdom to surface possibilities and uncover new paths to dismantle structural racism and build a more equitable future. Projects should address one or more of RWJF’s prioritized systems: community development, government, healthcare, public health, economic inclusion for families, health science knowledge, and media. FJ Brotherton Charitable Trust | Funding for Education, Religion, Historic Preservation, and Research | The FJ Brotherton Charitable Trust funds nonprofit organizations across the northeastern and southeastern United States. Its giving priorities include education (particularly programs aiding those in need or with disabilities) through support for schools and colleges. The Trust also invests in religion-based programs and local church capital projects, historic preservation initiatives, and historical societies. Robert Lehman Foundation | Grants Support Visual Arts Access and Education Nationwide | The Robert Lehman Foundation provides grants to museums, arts organizations, educational institutions, and other nonprofit cultural groups with the goal of advancing the visual arts in both American and global culture. It supports a wide array of projects, including museum exhibitions, scholarly publications, art history lectureships, and art education programs. The Amphion Foundation | Amphion Grant | The Amphion Foundation aims to encourage the performance of contemporary concert music, particularly by American composers, through support to performing, presenting, and music service organizations. The Foundation’s fall grant cycle is open to presenting and music service organizations for activities including professional development programs, educational initiatives, presenting concerts and festivals, artist residency programs, and archival activity. (The Foundation’s spring grant cycle supports performing organizations.) General operating support is available for organizations with a history of substantial commitment to contemporary American concert music and plans to continue that commitment, while project support is available for exceptionally important activities relating to contemporary concert music that are out of the scope of an organization’s regular programming. Council on Library & Information Resources | Digitizing Hidden Special Collections & Archives | Digitizing Hidden Special Collections and Archives: Amplifying Unheard Voices is a grant competition administered by the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) for digitizing rare and unique content stewarded by collecting organizations in the US and Canada. NJ Archival Film Festival | 2025 New Jersey Archival Film Festival | The first-ever NJ Archival Film Festival will take place on November 1 at Monmouth University. New Jersey archives, libraries, and museums are invited to submit short films (up to 15 minutes) held in their collections. Films do not need to relate directly to New Jersey. National Archives | Archival Projects Grants | The NHPRC seeks archival projects that will significantly improve online public discovery and use of historical records collections. We welcome projects that engage the public, expand civic education, and promote understanding of the nation’s history, democracy, and culture from the founding era to the present day.
