- AARP | AARP Community Challenge | The AARP Community Challenge provides small grants to fund quick-action projects that can help communities in the United States become more livable for people of all ages—especially those age 50 and older. In 2024, the AARP Community Challenge will accept applications for three grant opportunities: Flagship Grants of $500 to $50,000 focus on improving vibrant public places, transportation and mobility, housing, digital connections, community resilience, and community health and economic empowerment. Capacity-Building Microgrants of $2,500 plus additional resources support bike audit, HomeFit® modification, and walk audit projects. Demonstration Grants, usually in the range of $10,000 to $20,000, support projects that encourage the replication of promising efforts in digital connectivity to prepare and respond to disasters, equitable engagement to reconnect communities divided by infrastructure, and housing choice design competitions. Nonprofit organizations and government entities may apply. Other organizations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. | Application deadline: March 6, 2024
- Investors Foundation | Grants Enhance Community Initiatives in NJ and the NYC Area | Investors Foundation is dedicated to supporting impactful initiatives of diverse community organizations in communities the former Investors Bank served, including New Jersey and New York City and Long Island in New York. - D'Addario Foundation | Grants for Music Education | The D'Addario Foundation provides grants for music education programs that serve young people in communities across the United States. These grants support initiatives such as after-school programs, summer camps, instrument donations, and music instruction. Priority is given to programs demonstrating a commitment to serving underserved communities and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in music education. - National Endowment for the Arts | RESEARCH GRANTS IN THE ARTS |Research Grants in the Arts support research studies that investigate the value and/or impact of the arts, either as individual components of the U.S. arts ecosystem or as they interact with each other and/or with other domains of American life. | Deadline: March 25, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.,
- Teiger Foundation |The Teiger Foundation provides grants for U.S.-based, curator-led initiatives in contemporary visual art. Supported initiatives may include group exhibitions, single-artist surveys, participatory and community-engaged art projects, digital exhibitions, live and virtual performance in the context of the visual arts, and as-yet-unknown curatorial forms involving contemporary visual art and artists. Grant categories include grants of up to $150,000 for single projects led by curators at organizations of all sizes; grants of up to $150,000 for three years of programming at organizations with annual budgets less than $3.5 million, including independent art spaces, contemporary art centers, nonprofit art institutions, kunsthalles, university galleries, and small contemporary art museums; grants of up to $75,000 for hosting exhibitions that originated elsewhere; and grants of up to $50,000 for curatorial research and development in the earliest stages of a project. 501(c)(3) institutions in the U.S. are eligible to apply. | Application deadline: Applications will be accepted from January 2 to February 14, 2024. | Learn more
- Performing Arts Readiness | Network Grants | Grants of up to $7250 will be awarded to 24 performing arts organizations to create individual, institutional emergency preparedness or Continuity of Operations (CoOP) plans. | Rolling Deadline: submit between August 1, 2023 and March 1, 2024.
