South Jersey Cultural Alliance is excited to have Rawan Maarouf at our April 2nd Saturday Programming this Saturday, April 8th at 1 PM! The entire community arts program occurs from 11 AM - 2 PM. Make sure to catch her performance at 1 PM!
Rawan, a young Egyptian American artist and songwriter hailing from New Jersey, actualizes her Arabic namesake as soon as her vocals reach the ears of her diverse audience, streaming from over 70 countries.
Rawan's refreshing nonconformist sound and style are made clear in her debut EP “Worn Out Lover”, which was recognized by artists like Yuna and Lil Nas X. Honoring her generation's moment, Rawan dreams of her art becoming a force within the movement committed to deconstructing and challenging stigmas.
