The Somers Point Jazz Society was formed to promote and foster the performance and appreciation of the unique American art form jazz in Somers Point through the creation of an annual jazz festival to be held in and around Somers Point. To produce a year-round calendar of jazz performances by both local and established musicians. To provide educational opportunities for both young and old in the community alike, to learn more about this art form. To be an advocate for the performance of this art form whenever and wherever possible.
