
Cultural Education at Tuckerton Seaport
Educational Programs highlight the region’s unique maritime heritage and the dramatic interaction between culture and nature on Barnegat Bay. Multi-disciplinary programs correspond to New Jersey Department of Education Core Curriculum Standards and are easily adapted to grades pre-school through high school. Interactive programs are approximately one and a half to two hours long and are customized to best meet student needs.

Group Tours at Tuckerton Seaport
Admission: $6 adults; $5 seniors (62+). Groups must have a minimum of 15 individuals. No charge for group leader or bus driver. Multiple groups welcome. Pre-registration required with $50 non-refundable deposit. 10% gift shop discount on regular-priced items. Additional $2 per person for a guided tour. Additional Information: – All new buildings are ADA accessible – Typical length of group visit is 3 hours – On-site restaurant serving seafood and American cuisine. – Free motor coach parking – On-site gift shop – Special events offered throughout the season – MasterCard & Visa accepted – Smoke-free environment. Catch the spirit of the bay and discover the region’s unique maritime heritage at Tuckerton Seaport, a recreated maritime village nestled along the Tuckerton Creek on 40 acres of pristine beauty in historic Tuckerton, Ocean County. Rich traditions and the legacy of the Jersey shore are brought back to life with 15 recreated structures including decoy-carving shops, a boat works, clam and oyster houses, gunning clubs and a lighthouse, three historic buildings, exhibits, demonstrations, educational programs, collections, tours, special events and more. Tuckerton Seaport is a project of the Barnegat Bay Decoy and Baymens Museum.
