Clay College of Cumberland County College at the Arts and Innovation Center is a off-campus site dedicated to the art of ceramics, pottery and sculpture. Clay College offers a wide variety of credit and non-credit classes to accommodate all ages and level of skill. We also provide after school programs, private art parties, and guest artist lectures.

The Arts and Innovation Center provides synergies to spark development of; innovation in the arts and sciences; and entrepreneurial activities that are centered around the College’s credit and non-credit programs and integrated into the culture of the Millville’s Glasstown Arts District. The AIC aims to catalyze further investment, development, and commerce in the Arts District while giving students, businesses and the community access to educational programs and modern spaces for innovation and exhibition, ultimately contributing to arts and sciences sustainability in Southern New Jersey.​ Arts & Innovation at RCSJ-Cumberland includes both our new AIC Center in Millville, as well as initiatives like One Book, One College and the Science Research Competition for High School students. We look to bring new and innovative programs that support in-demand jobs. Particularly, Cyber Security is expected to experience a 28% growth between 2016 and 2026 according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Holiday Workshops
Celebrate the holidays by creating unique, handmade items with techniques taught in these artistic workshops. Your design will then be glazed and fired in our kilns and one of our experienced staff will contact you once the process is complete.

Jewelry Workshops
Learn techniques (glass fusing, metal etching/forging, metal clay, bead enameling) for creating different styles of jewelry including rings, pendants, beads and bracelets

Weaving Workshops
Whether it’s using a table top loom, crochet hooks or freeform weaving and wrapping, come learn how to design beautiful creations with the techniques taught in these weaving workshops.

Children Workshops
Available for every level of artistic ability, these pottery and fine art workshops are designed to help develop the creativity in your child. From basic techniques to portfolio creation, our instructors will help the students cultivate their personal artistic voice.
