ArtsPay NJ Individual Arts Worker Salary Survey
Advocacy • Deadline: Friday, June 30, 2023South Jersey Cultural Alliance is proud to be collaborating with all of the state's Arts Service organizations to launch Arts Pay NJ, a project to promote pay equity that includes the first-ever compensation study of New Jersey's non-profit arts sector.
The Individual Arts Worker Survey is now live, and we need to hear from you!

WHO SHOULD TAKE IT?
Please take the survey if you identify as one or more of the following:
- Full-time worker/administrator in non-profit arts
- Part-time worker/administrator in non-profit arts
- Freelance/contract worker in non-profit arts
- Individual artist that works with non-profit arts organizations
- Teaching artist that works with non-profit arts organizations
DATA COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION
Data collected will be viewed ONLY by the third-party research firm, Baker Richards, which will anonymize and analyze the information. The results of the survey will be made publicly available at no cost. This data will be essential in helping our sector identify and address pay inequities and will provide information to assist arts workers with employment negotiations.
DEADLINE
Please complete the Arts Worker Survey no later than Friday, June 30, 2023. The survey should take about 15-20 minutes.

By participating in this survey, you and your colleagues can be part of fighting pay inequity in our field. Please share this survey with your co-workers, friends in the field, and individual artists in your network, and encourage them to complete it. The more individuals that take the survey, the more accurate picture of our sector we can share with the field, decision-makers, and the funding community.
