New Jersey Historical Commission | FY2025 Project Grant Guidelines Release
Funding & Grants • Deadline: April 12, 2024The New Jersey Historical Commission (NJHC) is now accepting Declarations of Intent (DOI) to apply for its annual Project Grant program. Applicants can ask for up to $20,000 for eligible New Jersey history proposals. This includes, but is not limited to, research, conservation of historical materials, educational initiatives, editorial and publication projects, exhibitions, media, public programs, and capacity building. For FY 2025, a 1-year pilot initiative will allow prospective applicants with organizational budgets of at least $50,000 to apply directly to the NJHC for project grant support. This is a decrease from the traditional $100,000 threshold of previous years. This budget figure should be based on income received for the applicant’s most recently completed fiscal year. | Guidelines | Declarations of Intent (DOIs) to Apply are due by 3pm on March 8, 2024.
