Programs, resources, training and more for SJCA members

SJCA provides access to a comprehensive menu of programs and services, specifically designed for individuals and organizations working in arts, culture and history pursuits.

Programs, Seminars & Workshops: Throughout the year, SJCA taps its broad network of expert members and leadership to offer technical assistance programs specifically designed for nonprofit cultural organizations.

Marketing Initiatives: Through its Cultural Tourism Initiative, SJCA works with the tourism industry to increase awareness, support and participation in cultural activities. Regional marketing efforts, such as annual magazine advertisements, raise awareness and visibility on behalf of our members and their programming.

Aiken Encore Awards: Each spring, this annual awards gala offers all members the opportunity to recognize their choice of honorees before peers and supporters from the public and private sectors. The Encore Awards program serves three main goals:
• Increasing exposure for member organizations
• Encouraging member organizations to meet face to face and exchange ideas
• Providing a mechanism for members to pay formal tribute to the individuals, companies and organizations that have helped move their missions forward
The event also includes the Lillian Levy Standing Ovation Award, presented to an individual or organization that has significantly contributed to the promotion of the arts, history and culture in the region.
