and Cultural Center

www.seabrookeducation.org

A nonprofit organization whose mission is to preserve and make known the unique history of Seabrook as a place where people of different races and cultures were given an opportunity for a new start in life. A book documents it in "Growing a Global Village". A video entitled "Seabrook Farms Remembered" traces its history.

As a major supplier of food for the military during World War II, it brought as many as 25 different ethnic groups from internment and refugee camps from around the world to fill the labor shortage.
