As part of the Rutgers-Camden Center for the Arts, the Gordon Theater presents exciting public and educational theater performances including music and dance for all ages as well year round.
Cultural Education at the RCCA
Theatre, Music and Dance Performances for students, Grades K-12. Videoconference Classes for Grades K-12. Exhibitions and Museum Education Classes for Grades K-12. Educating children in the arts, about the arts, and through the arts is at the core of RCCA's mission. Since 1987, the Arts Education programs at Rutgers-Camden Center for the Arts have served the disadvantaged children of Camden City and K-12 students throughout New Jersey, and beyond. The content of all RCCA's education programs fulfills the National Arts Education Content Standards and New Jersey's Core Curriculum Content Standards for the arts as well as curriculum requirements in language arts, social studies, science, mathematics, and other areas.
