A NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum Visitor!
NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum's mission is to preserve Hangar No. 1, a National and State Register listed resource; to interpret the historic significance of the hangar as a training facility in World War II; to memorialize the 38 Navy Airmen who perished while training at NAS Wildwood; and to educate students and the public regarding avaiation and New Jersey history-related subjects. NAS offers a wide variety of community programs including an annual Fly-In and Pancake Breakfast, historical lectures, UFO-style swing dances, pilot safety seminars and more.
Cultural Education at the Aviation Museum
Educating students regarding aviation and New Jersey history-related subjects. The Museums's Aviation Education Program offers student tours, field trips and distance learning sessions. Grades K-12. Teacher Prep Materials are available and programming is core-curriculum-based
