June 24, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Want to learn more about the significance of what popular author John McPhee called “The Founding Fish” to the Whitall family and Red Bank in early America? Join us for historic foodways demonstrations with shad, chat with a New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection biologist about the health of the Delaware River, and more! Let’s learn about the long history of the River’s importance to everyday life at Red Bank. You can tell us what it means to you too! Funding has been made possible in part by the New Jersey Historical Commission / Department of State, and the Gloucester County Cultural & Heritage Commission of Rowan College at Gloucester County.
