It's all here.

Everything you need to know about educational and outreach programming offered by southern New Jersey arts and history organizations.

For the past seven years, the Programs for Schools guide has provided parents, educators, parent-teacher associations and friends of the arts with a comprehensive guide on educational programming available through southern New Jersey arts organizations.

Educational and outreach programming offered by arts organizations throughout the eight southern counties of New Jersey include:

• Arts & Cultural Event school trip ideas
• Assembly programs
• Artist-in-school programs
• Classes for students of all ages
• Teacher training and professional development opportunities

We invite you to browse the Directory of Member Organizations that offer cultural education programming.

SJCA provides funding to reduce the costs to schools attending cultural events through transportation and admission subsidies. Click the following link for information about the SJCA Bus and Admission Fund.

With the establishment of the NJ Department of Education’s Core Curriculum Content Standards, SJCA member organizations are ready and able to work with educators to help meet this requirements – while having a great time doing it!

We hope you will use this resource – and remember, when selecting appropriate programming:

• Look outside your immediate geographic area as many of organizations offer programs, demonstrations, exhibits, classes and performances at your school.
