2018 Paul Aiken Encore Award Winners

 

East Lynne Theater Company’s Board honors:
Gayle Stahlhuth, Artistic Director.

Last September East Lynne Theater Company presented James Rana’s A YEAR IN THE TRENCHES. It was her 100th production as Artistic Director. Her work includes tours throughout the US, education outreach and summer student programs.

Mauricetown Historical Society honors:
Robert Moore, Buildings and Grounds Chairman.

In 2017 the Society voted to update the kitchen to be in compliance as a certified kitchen. Bob’s expertise in carpentry and as project manager in dealing with the various approving agencies saved thousands of dollars.

Tuckerton Seaport honors:
Diane & Paul Hartelius, Volunteers.

Diane and Paul invest a countless amount of time and talent at the Seaport. They make the impossible possible on a daily basis. They are also good will ambassadors for the Seaport, always connecting the Seaport with new partners and new
volunteers.

Eagle Theatre honors:
Charles and Lynn Arsenault, Former Vice President and Longtime Volunteers, Donors and Supporters.

Charles and Lynn Arsenault have been key supporters of the Eagle Theatre during its highest period of growth. Charles served on the Board of Directors from 2013 through 2018, elected as Vice President. Lynn served on the Finance Committee and both worked hard to create a major Operations Fund.

Cumberland County Cultural & Heritage honors:
Lisa Stewart Garrison.

Dedicating her career to advancing equity and the voices of the unheard, Lisa is leading the effort to advance arts and culture. Her current work involves the stories associated with the Underground Railroad and of immigrant workers.

Appel Farm Arts & Music Center honors:
Denise Hayman-Loa, Previous Board President.

Denise Hayman-Loa has lead the organization through a transformative era. She dedicated the past decade to serving Appel Farm through her role as the Board President for the past five years after years of serving as Trustee and volunteer.

Mainstage Center for the Arts nominates:
Robin Broughton, Board Member.

Robin is a long time Board Member whose background in Human Relations was invaluable to our growth. Robin has sung many times with MCA through the years.

Surflight Theater nominates:
Kathy Leone and Diane Santillo.

Kathy and Diane have been monumentally instrumental in the growth of Ocean Pro Theatre Company, from financial assistance (gifts and loan) to volunteering to get the theatre ready for the June opening in 2017.

ArtPride New Jersey Foundation nominates:
Patty Howard Spalding and Barbara Fisher.

Patty and Barbara have filled the Lyceum Hall Center for the Arts with cultural vitality adding to the revitalization of Burlington City through the arts.

Atlantic City Arts Foundation nominates:
Joyce Hagen, Executive Director.

Joyce’s commitment to the arts in
Atlantic City long predates her position as Executive Director, but it is through her knowledge, faith and persistence her work has borne fruit such as Chalk About AC, Arteriors, and 48 Blocks AC.
